Spearheading a team of 70 as chief makeup designer on the opening ceremony of the Pan Am Games, Cirque du Soleil’s largest project to date with over 600 performers on stage, Julie’s ability to lead, innovate and teach shone through.
The Pan Am Games opening ceremony was Julie Bégin’s second Cirque du Soleil collaboration. In 2009, she contributed her unbridled imagination to the creation of 50 insect-inspired characters which comprise their 25th anniversary show OVO.
